JD is a certified spiritual director and life coach. He completed his certification through the Soul Shepherding Institute in southern California. JD is also a trained Prepare and Enrich trainer and facilitator. 

JD has spent 20 years planting churches and working as a missionary and pastor. He now focuses on coaching and helping those who are doing similar work. 

JD ’s focus within his work is helping others to access, and tend well, to their souls. Whether through contemplative prayer, solitude or specified coaching, JD works to unlock areas of struggle and open up pathways to peace and restfulness.

JD’s focus with individuals and couples is typically in the areas of soul care and spiritual disciplines, Enneagram coaching, leadership development and equipping, as well as customized leadership retreats.
